Theodore R. Collins, former Rust business manager, dies

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 noon, Saturday, Nov. 28, at Brown Memorial Presbyterian Church, 3535 Stillman Avenue, Tuscaloosa.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the T.R. Collins Scholarship Fund at Spelman College, Atlanta, Ga.

I had the pleasure of being Mr. Collins work study student at Stillman College from 1987 - 1991. He was an honorable matter of fact person who I had the upmost respect for. (Continued…)

Mr. Collins was the business manager during my entire tenure at Rust College. This has become an emotionally heavy time for me. Mr. Collins was the last of the major administrative officers who ran the college while I was a student. (Continued…)

I first met Mr. Collins in the summer of 1961, when I came to Rust to work during the summer. He was a very kind and considerate man, and he also had a sense of humor. (Continued…)
