David L. Stratmon - autograph

I wish to share something with all of you. Though I am a total stranger, I found your College by way of searching for the name of David L. Stratmon.
My reason for searching is this....many years ago, I purchased a book titled "Basic Writings of Thomas Jefferson." The book was produced by Halcion House, Garden City New York. Copyright 1944.
This made my head spin. Many years after purchasing the book, I realized that I had been ignoring something. A Hand written signature on the inside cover.
"David L. Stratmon" On the next page is stamped.. "David L. Stratmon"
American Embassy.
I searched for him this evening and discovered his passing for which I am deeply sorry. It is an honor to possess an item that belonged to him. I purchased it at a place once called the "Forest Park Book Store" in Ft. Wayne Indiana. That book store is but a memory. I also acquired Thomas Paine's "The rights of Man" at the same time.
I would imagine that should Mr. Stratmon have surviving family, this may mean soomething to them so here is my contact information:
